Hurricane Earl Path

Breaking News...Hurricane Earl is strengthening in the Atlantic Ocean as it passes over the northern Leeward Islands .   The National Hurricane Center in Miami said that Earl has grown into a  Category 3 hurricane early Monday with maximum sustained winds of 120mph. 
Hurricane Earl is located approximately 95 miles east-northeast of St. Thomas and moving west-northwest at 15mph.
"On the forecast track, the center of Earl will pass near or over the northernmost Leeward Islands this morning and near the Virgin Islands this afternoon and this evening," the Hurricane Center said earlier Monday. The storm is expected to turn northwest on Tuesday.
Hurricane warnings have been issued for Anguilla, St. Martin/St. Maarten, St. Barthelemy, Saba, St. Eustatius, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and  Puerto Rico.
Meteorologist are predicting that  Earl could affect areas in the United States from the Carolinas to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, over Labor Day weekend.
