Hurricane Tomas Slams Haiti

BREAKING NEWS...Hurricane Tomas is battering the devastated country of Haiti.
Haiti has been devastated by a killer earthquake and a deadly outbreak of cholera this year is being slammed with high winds and rain from Hurricane Tomas. Tomas could dump 15 inches of rain on Haiti which could cause massive flash flooding and mudslides.
The eye of the storm is offshore about 140 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti and about 90 miles southeast of Cuba. Tomas is moving northeast at about 12 mph with winds of 85 mph.
Reports out of Jeremie, on the western tip of Haiti closest to the storm, are destroyed houses, downed trees and rivers flooding.
The biggest concern is for those homeless from the earthquake who are riding out the storm in open air centers and those living intents waiting for the winds and rain to stop.
