The Colorado Rockies team president, Keli McGregor, was found dead this morning in theSalt Lake City Grand Hotel. McGregor, 48, was found unconscious around 9 am when 911 was called. Rescue personell tried their best to revive him, but all attemps failed.
A Salt Lake City Police spokesman said that McGregor's death appears to be from natural causes with no signs of foul play and nobody else in the room. Police will investigate his death as an unattended death.
The Colorado Rockies are in Washington to play the Nationals tonight and the game will go on as planned.
