Nissan Recall

BREAKING NEWS...Nissan is recalling 2.1 million cars globally.

Nissan, Japan's third largest auto manufacturer, said the recall is due to a fault in the engine control system.  This fault may make the automobile stall while its running.  A Nissan spokesman said that in extreme cases the engine will stall and won't be able to start.Nissan reports that no accidents have been reported from this fault.
The defect have been found in automobiles manufactured from August 2003 to July 2006.  Models affected by the recall are the March, Mycra, Cube, Note, and about a dozen other models including the Tilda sedan, Titan pickup, and the Infinity QX56 luxury model.

The vehicles affected by the recall were produced in Japan, the United States Great Britain, China, Spain and Taiwan.
The massive numbers in the recall are due to the cost cutting tactics that result in the same parts being used in various models.
