University of Texas Shooting

Breaking News...A shooting at the University of Texas Austin campus this morning has resulted in a campus lockdown.
A gunman fired several shots from an AK-47 assault rifle at the Perry-Castaneda Library before taking his own life with a gunshot wound. As of right now no injuries have been reported and the campus is still on lockdown while police look for a second gunman.
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo has confirmed the gunman's death and that the campus is still on lockdown.
A University of Texas spokesman reported," the gunman is dead on the sixth floor of the Perry-Castaneda Library with no identification. Apparently took his own life."
All University of Texas Austin classes have been cancelled.

Updated...Austin Police have now identified  Colton Tooley, a 19 year old sophomore mathematics major, as the lone shooter and the only one injured during today's shooting.

  1. so sad..i wonder wht was in the mind of the shooter before he died. luckily only 1 person injured and nobody else dies.
