Van der Sloot Confesses

According to Peruvian authorities Joran Van der Sloot confessed to the murder of Stephany Flores Ramirez last week. He will take investigators to the hotel room were the murder took place for a re-enactment of the murder.
During a tearful confession Monday night, Van der Sloot said that he and Flores meet in a casino and he took her back to his hotel room. While he was out getting coffee Flores had accessed his computer and found information on his laptop linking him to the Natalie Halloway disappearance in Aruba in 2005. Authorities said that when he found her on his laptop he became enraged and beat her to death.
Formal murder charges could be filed Tuesday by Peruvian authorities.
Van der Sloot could spend 35 years in prison for the murder. Peru has no death penalty.
