The Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles have completed a three team deal. In the deal the Denver sends TE Tony Scheffler and a 7th round pick to the Lions; the Lions send LB Ernie Simms to the Eagles and the Eagles send a 5th round pick in Thursday's draft to the Broncos.
Scheffler's reaction to the trade is relief as he will now be playing for his hometown team. He is a native of Chelsea and played at Western Michigan.
