World Cup Final Set

Spain and the Netherlands are set to battle for the 2010 World Cup. 

Spain made it to the finals by beating Germany today 1 -0 and the Netherlands made it to the finals by edging Uruguay 3 -2 yesterday. 

The championship match will take place Sunday July 11 at 2:30 eastern standard time at Johannesburg’s Soccer City Stadium.  The winner will be only the eighth nation to win the coveted title.

Spain is making their first appearance in the finals while the Netherlands are making their third appearance.  During the tournament the Dutch have won every match they played as well as all their qualifying matches.  Spain is the reigning European Champions.
